This policy explains the information used to operate Counter & Canopy's website and personalized digital services. It applies to the storefront, service intake, checkout handoff, fulfillment, revisions, and support.
1. Information you provide
The service intake asks for product and listing information needed for the tier you select. This can include a product name or SKU, product description, image and listing URLs, price, currency, availability, marketplace, brand voice, store URL, benefits, and optional buyer-intent details. Stripe separately collects checkout details such as your email address and payment information.
A $149 sprint begins with one Shopify product in the pre-checkout intake. Its secure authenticated post-purchase order step can collect the remaining zero to four exact product URLs and complete product facts needed for your selected count.
Do not put payment-card numbers, account passwords, store credentials, or unrelated sensitive personal information in the intake form or optional product notes.
2. How information is used
We use service and order information to:
- connect your intake to the selected Stripe checkout and paid order;
- prepare, screen, review, and deliver the purchased service;
- answer questions and perform included revisions or a bounded re-audit;
- protect the service from abuse and diagnose operational failures; and
- maintain order and business records required to operate the service.
Product facts may be processed by automated writing and quality-review systems while a deliverable is prepared. A human reviews the work before customer delivery.
3. Checkout and payment
The intake function stages the submitted product facts as order metadata with Stripe, then sends you to Stripe-hosted checkout. Counter & Canopy does not collect your full payment-card number through its intake form. Stripe processes payment information under Stripe's privacy policy.
4. Website and advertising measurement
Unless your browser reports Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the storefront, intake, and verified checkout-return pages load a Google Ads measurement tag. Our custom funnel events contain only a fixed service identifier, fixed service price, and funnel stage or button placement. They do not include intake answers, email addresses, product or store URLs, checkout notes, or the page query string.
When the browser reports Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, our measurement loader does not contact Google and the custom funnel code does not send events. Otherwise, Google may process routine device, browser, and page-request information under Google's privacy policy when its base tag loads.
On the checkout-return page, a same-origin function asks Stripe whether the supplied Checkout Session is complete and paid before a purchase conversion can be recorded. The browser receives only the fixed service tier, amount, currency, and a one-way transaction digest. It does not receive or send the Stripe Session ID, email address, intake answers, or payment-card details to Google as conversion fields.
5. Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website and intake function, Stripe handles checkout and order metadata, and Google supplies advertising measurement. These providers may receive routine technical information needed to provide their services. We also use controlled automated systems to prepare and check deliverables. Information is shared with providers only as needed for the service, security, support, measurement, or legal compliance.
6. Retention and security
Intake, order, delivery, and support records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill the service, support revisions, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by record and provider. We use access controls and secret-handling boundaries intended to limit unauthorized access, but no online service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices
You can ask about, correct, or request deletion of information tied to your order by emailing us from the address used at checkout. We may need to retain limited payment, fraud-prevention, or legal records even after a deletion request. Your rights can vary based on where you live.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the services, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
